The weekend that I did not expect

I hope you have all had a great weekend, I just thought I would check-in with you all to explain why my schedule for the week ahead had changed slightly.

Yesterday, after sharing a great hour with a new client, I got a phone call from my partner, it went something like this... "Hello, great news we won the rugby match but the bad news I am in A&E in Wigan." As you can probably imagine, my heart sunk and from that moment, we experienced what can only be described as 24 hours of chaos. I drove over to the hospital to discover that we was going to need surgery and would be staying in over night. I drove back to Manchester to get his phone charger and wash bag to then head back to the hospital to sit in a very busy and understaffed A&E until he was taken into surgery at 10am this morning. The surgery was a success and we are home now but my schedule for the week ahead will be a little different...

Mon: OFF

Tue: 10am to 5pm (hopefully)

Wed: 10am to 5pm (hopefully)

Thur: Not sure yet

Fri: 10am to late (hopefully)

Sat: 10am to 4pm (hopefully)

Sun: OFF

I say "hopefully", because all being well, things will go back to normal and my schedule will now be affected after taking tomorrow off to rest. I will of course be updating my schedules daily on both Birchplace and Adultwork as well as my blog.

I don't usually share much about my private life but I hate messing with my schedule as I know many of you use it to plan sessions with me, so apologies if this messes many potential sessions up. I also wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone at the NHS, you so an amazing job and I am so grateful for your choice to dedicate your working life to helping others. Thank you.

Thanks again for all of your support.

Sasha
